Late 19th century Oil painting on canvas – “Waiting for a Bite” (unsigned)

A late 19th century glazed and gilt-framed oil painting on canvas depicting two anglers “waiting for a bite”. A young child can be seen on the left, with a cluster of houses, a local church and an old stone bridge. Apparently unsigned.

Well painted and protected behind glass. Paint is bright and in good condition.

Dimensions:  H: 23 inches (58.5 cm).   W: 18 inches (45.7 cm)
