A good 19th century mahogany folding Card Table supported on a superb central carved column.
The top section both rotates and folds-over revealing the original satinwood interior with a circular leather playing-surface. The carving to the column is particularly fine, with a plain quatrefoil base, raised on carved feet with original recessed brass castors. The work is typical of the quality and style of Gillows, it is not however stamped.
Dimensions: Height: 30 inches (76cm); Width: 36 inches (92cm); Depth (closed): 18 inches (46cm).
