A good solid set of SIX Victorian rosewood balloon-back dining chairs

A good and solid set of SIX mid-Victorian balloon-back DINING CHAIRS with serpentine front rails. Recently re-upholstered in good quality gold and cream fabric with gold gimp edging.

The rear support and centre bar are delightfully carved with scrolls and leaves. The seat is supported on well carved cabriole legs to the front and plain outswept legs to the back. The overstuffed seats have recently been re-stuffed; re-lined as well as recovered so are in excellent condition. During this process the joints are also tightened up, so the chairs are solid.
