19th century silvered-dial mahogany Portico Clock

A good flame-mahogany silvered-dial Portico Clock. The movement strikes hours and half-hours on a bell retaining its original adjustable pendulum. The pendulum features a gilded flower bob with a horse above. The four highly polished mahogany columns feature ormolu at top and base. The silvered dial has Roman numerals and steel moon hands and is surrounded by the gilded brass foliate case. The plain polished mahogany plinth stands on circular pad feet.

Movement is unsigned.   Sold in full working order with 12 month guarantee.
