Price: RESERVED (£2450)
Stock No. 1092/Q

A fine quality Regency period rosewood Breakfast / Dining / Centre Table with tilt-top action on a tripod base.

The finely figured circular rosewood top has a hand-carved beaded edge with satinwood decoration inside and further below around the frieze. The tilt-top action with it’s original brass fittings allows for easy ‘space-saving’ storage, whilst at the same time displaying the fantastic rosewood colour and grain. The diameter of the top is 51 inches (129.5cm) easily big enough to seat 6 in comfort, and is supported on a solid gun-barrel baluster column with finely carved decoration to the base. The carving is reminiscent of the design and work of some of the fine Gillows journeymen and suppliers. The rosewood column stands on a rosewood triform base, each spur has a stylised carved wheel with an interesting wing carved foot, housing an original brass castor.

Height: 27 inches (68.5cm);  Diameter: 51 inches (129.5cm). Will seat 6 in comfort.
