A mid-19th century tilt-top mahogany Occasional Table with scalloped edge. The finely figured one-piece top has a raised edge and tilts upright (for space-saving) by means of the brass lever/catch underneath. The top is supported on a central turned and delightfully ‘spiralled’ column, culminating in a plain tripod base with broad spade feet.
