A Pretty Early Gillows 19th Century Rosewood Side or Occasional Table

A pretty and useful 19th Century Rosewood Side or Occasional Table by Gillows of Lancaster. Below the well figured top is a single mahogany lined drawer with working key, whilst the table is raised on standard supports with carved scrolled decoration and joined by a turned stretcher with typical Gillows ‘apple’ shaped feet and castors.

Dated:  c.1835-50
