A good late 19th century French bronze animalier, after Jules Moigniez (unsigned), study of a bronze Pointer with a pheasant in its mouth, set on a marble base. Of good size, 8 inches long (20 cm) and 6.5 inches tall (16.5 cm). The dog stands on three legs on a natural ground.
Dated: c.1870-80.
