Victorian 3-section leather-bound Writing Box

A late Victorian 3-section leather-bound Writing Box.
The lid opens to reveal two porcelain ‘note’ panels for pencil notation: a pen and ink tray with one ink well. The pen tray lifts out for further storage under.
Within the lid are three letter compartments, which at the press of a button spring forward to allow access to the rear wallet. The front section folds out (forward) revealing a 2-section leather writing surface. The nearest half has a brass catch, which when opened, reveals full-width storage inside. The top section of the writing slope, has a leather tab, again opening to reveal full-width storage inside (including a blotter pad).
A note inside reads: “This beautiful old writing box was presented to Rose Isabel Spain (maiden name Fox) in 1897 on 31 August by the Teachers of the Lower Chapman Street School”
