Rare Austrian cold-painted bronze two-horned Rhinoceros by Franz Bergman

An excellent and rare Austrian cold-painted bronze two-horned Rhinoceros of good size (6 inches) by Franz Xaver Bergman (1861-1936).

Superb verdigris colouration and naturalistic detail. It stands evenly on a flat surface (no rocking). Stamped both with the trademark ‘B” inside amphora and signed ‘ManGreb’ to the right back leg (Bergman is known to have used this version of his signature often).
