Late 18th/early 19th CENTURY OIL: A TAVERN SCENE

An amusing late 18th or early 19th Continental century OIL PAINTING, probably linen laid down on a wooden panel, which depicts a couple enjoying a glass of wine and each others company. Could do with a clean, but original gilded frame. 16ins x 14ins including the frame.  circa 1780-1820 (?).
