Late 18th century (Chippendale period) hanging CORNER CUPBOARD
Price: £985Stock No. 242/PFK
A particularly fine and original late 18th century (Chippendale period) mahogany HANGING CORNER CUPBOARD in excellent original condition.
Below the pierced “Swan-Neck” pediment with its carved and gilded rosettes, is the well-figured and banded door, which opens to reveal three shaped shelves (with the base making four in all). This door is flanked by reeded sides, and the painting of the interior, whilst not original, is certainly very old and in beautiful order.
