GILLOWS SIDE CABINET OF USEFUL SIZE

GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a typically fine quality mid-19th century mahogany slender Drawing Room CABINET. Below the figured top with its three-quarter solid gallery are two beautifully-figured panelled doors which open to reveal 3 shelves (two adjustable); these doors are flanked by fluted columns heading by carved paterae.  Lovely quality. Measurements: 105cms wide; 96cms high and just 40 cms deep front-to-back. (41 x 38 x 15.5ins).  Stamped “GILLOWS” to the top of the right-hand door. Circa 1840-1850.
