R. Chimpton:  Small gilt framed watercolour painting on paper, signed & dated – “A man riding through the Countryside”. The picture is framed behind glass and mounted on embossed foliate card/mount. This looks to have been possibly taken from a sketch book. A lovely study of the horse in pen and ink, with sepia finish.

Dated: 1842 (signed and dated lower right corner)
