CHARMING BRONZE FISHERBOY by LAVERGNE

A good and quite large French BRONZE SCULPTURE of a young “fisherboy” ~ entitled “Pecheur par Lavergne” on the original applied placque to the base.  The young lad, dressed in shirt with rolled-up sleeves, and shorts, concentrates hard as he ties the line to his fishing rod. Signed to the base.  16ins (40.5cms) tall. This popular figure, which can be found in a much smaller size, is rarer in this size.
