AUSTRIAN “VIENNA” COLD-PAINTED BRONZE GROUP

AFTER FRANZ XAVER BERGMANN:  good, large and fine quality Austrian cold-painted BRONZE GROUP in lovely original condition.  This depicts an Arab dressed in dishdasha (or thawb) and turban, leading a camel which is mounted by an Arab musician, who plays a pair of kettle-style drums. The camel is covered in a detailed ornate tasselled rug, whilst both leader and camel are proceeding along a beautiful patterned rug which retains its original vibrant colours, as indeed does the whole group.

Quite large: 7.5ins wide and 7ins high. (19 x 18cms).
