AUSTRIAN COLD-PAINTED BRONZE EGYPTIAN LADY.

FRANZ XAVER BERGMAN: an interesting Austrian “Vienna” cold-painted BRONZE GROUP, of a young Egyptian lady being attended to by a slavegirl.  Standing on a patterned carpet, wearing long robes and a typical Ancient Egyptian headdress, she is being kept cool by a kneeling young girl who holds a long peacock-feather fan above her.  Signed with the Bergman seal and “Geschultz” (copyright).  c1900.  21cms high; 13cms wide; 8cms deep.
