A GOOD ORIGINAL VICTORIAN FITTED JEWELLERY BOX

A completely original and fully fitted Victorian JEWELLERY CASE in fine condition. The well-figured brass-bound case with twin brass line inlay and engraved vacant cartouche to the lid, opens to reveal a lift-out tray fitted to accommodate rings; ear-rings and a watch, below is a further fitted lift-out tray which when removed reveals a fitted lower section. It is lined throughout in purple velvet and navy blue leather in excellent condition whilst both hinges and locking plates are finely engraved and gilded.  It is complete with a silver pocket watch (not working) and fully working lock & key.  31cms wide; 20cms deep; 14cms high.
