A good PAIR of cased “POCKET PISTOLS”, signed ‘Williams’ on each of the screw-off barrels, and with ‘belt-hooks; folding triggers; safety locks and well-hatched walnut stocks.

The later fitted mahogany case, with sticker for C. Sturman, 2 Church Row, Upper Islington, London, comes complete with accessories including bullet mould; brass 3-way ‘Sykes’ powder flask (stamped); screw driver; cap tin etc. The lid has a coat of arms with the motto: “Flecti Non Franci” (it could not turn Frank or: Frank is not for turning)
