A good quality late 18th century (Chippendale period) mahogany octagonal galleried occasional table on a tripod columned base.
The finely figured one-piece octagonal tilt-topped surface is edged with an ornately carved frieze edge, with a turned mahogany baluster gallery and rail to the top. The single baluster pedestal is also turned and ornately carved with leaves, leading to the tripod base, each leg attractively carved with leaves, leading to finely carved three-toed bird-claw feet.
