19th Century Austrian cold-painted bronze Stag (length 16.5cm)

A fine quality Austrian cold-painted bronze model of a baying Stag with 12-point antlers. A mid-sized figure measuring 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) from nose to tail and standing 4.75 inches (12 cm) tall. The detail in the casting is wonderful and it retains almost all of its original paintwork. It stands perfectly flat with no rocking. No stamp but almost certainly the work of Austrian born Franz Bergman.
