1543/17: A charming PAIR of watercolours by Karl FEIERTAG: "Two on a Swing" and "Pushing the Swing" in their original mounts and frames. These cheerful paintings depicts children laughing as they play on a swing in the garden of their home. They retain their original bright colours and both are signed l.r. corners. 22ins x 18ins (56 x 45.5cms) including their frames. * Karl FEIERTAG (1874-1944) was Austrian by birth, who became famous for his historical and genre paintings, particularly of children. 1210/16: S. J. Nash: A well executed WATERCOLOUR which depicts Canterbury Cathedral. Beautifully designed and complete with modern frame and mount, it is signed lower right. 20ins x 18ins. (51 x 45.5cms). * S.J. ("Toby" Nash was a painter local to the Canterbury area who enjoyed his drink and often painted in lieu of payment. He was also a violin teacher. c.1930
