1638/18: An attractive George III mahogany OVAL WINE COOLER or JARDINIERE in excellent original condition on its original stand. The 'coopered' mahogany cooler is fitted with wide brass bands, with unusual high quality cast "Leopards Head" ring side handles. It retains its good original lead lining to the interior, whilst the oval stand with tapering and slightly splayed legs terminates in original cast brass castors. An fine example measuring: 25ins wide; 18ins deep; 22ins high. (63.5 x 45.5 x 56cms) c.1780

1586/17: A good quality early 19th century Regency mahogany WINE CELLARETTE almost certainly by Gillows of Lancaster. Of sarcophagus shape it features beautifully figured panels to the front, sides and back with a cast gilded leopard's head ring handle to the front. The flat-topped lid opens to reveal the segmented interior which is lined in lead whilst it is supported on well-carved lion's paw feet with original castors. 29ins wide; 19ins deep; 20ins high. (73,5 x 48.25 x 51cms) c.1825
