2007/19: An attractive early 19th century bow-fronted STICK BAROMETER by J. Irvine of London. Surmounted by a “Swan-neck” pediment with central finial, the case is of bowed form and beautifully veneered with “flame” mahogany, featuring a solid ebonised urn-shaped cistern cover to the base. The silvered register plate is signed and engraved as is the thermometer to the trunk, both behind original bowed glass. Guaranteed for at least two years. 41ins 104cms) high overall. c.1800
