1603/17: An excellent quality Regency period mahogany SECRETAIRE-BOOKCASE in fine original condition. The upper bookcase section features pretty glazing bars with stylised anthiemon terminals, whilst the twin doors open to reveal adjustable shelves within. The lower section has a well-fitted secretaire drawer containing nine small "bird's eye" maple-veneered small drawers arranged around a central pigeonhole whilst "flame" mahogany veneered doors below open to reveal shelves within. It stands on a plinth base and measures 43ins wide; 7ft 6ins tall and 21ins deep. An impressive Library or Drawing Room cabinet. c.1830

1265/16: A good quality early/mid 19th century rosewood DWARF BOOKCASE. Below the well-figured and cross-banded top are twin carved paterae above carved solid rosewood corbels, which flank the two adjustable shelves making three in total. It is supported on a plinth base and measures 42ins wide; 13ins deep; 36ins high (107 x 33 x 91.5cms). c.1830

1009/15: A particularly fine quality late 18th or early 19th century mahogany BOOKCASE=CABINET of compact size. Below the well-drawn cornice are two glazed doors that retain most, if not all of the original glazing. These open to reveal two banks of adjustable shelves within, lined with watered silk. Below, the well-figure panel doors open to reveal shelved cupboards, and this pretty and useful cabinet is supported on elegant 'swept' bracket feet. Hinges and locks are all gilded (and original) and complete with original keys. 74ins high; 43ins wide (188 x 109cms) c.1800
