1896/18: ISADORE BONHEUR: a charming BRONZE SCULPTURE group of two Merino 1875sheep (a ram and a ewe) close to each other and standing in a pasture. Finely modelled and beautifully detailed, this excellent animalier group is signed within the integral bronze base. 12ins (30.5cms) wide. *Isadore Jules Bonheur (France, 1827-1901) was a highly distinguised "animalier" bronze sculptor who in his early years worked closely with his equally famous sister, Rosa. c.1875

1882/18: An interesting and beautifully modelled BRONZE SCULPTURE of a cow, grazing peacefully. Mounted on an 'Arts & Crafts' style adzed oak base. Probably English; very lifelike and somehow rather charming. Unsigned. 9.5ins long; 7ins high. (24 x 18cms) c.1890
