1868/18: A lovely quality 'hammered' solid silver spoon by OMAR RAMSDEN, with its slightly pointed rat-tail backed bowl and tapering stem. Fully hallmarked for London 1919. 7ins long. * Omar Ramsden (1873-1939) was a Sheffield-born silversmith of great note. He was a leading and highly influential designer and maker of high quality silver, much collected today. c.1919

1867/18: A particularly fine and thoroughly original 18th century Chippendale period mahogany HANGING CORNER CABINET in excellent original condition. Below the pierced "Swan-Neck" pediment with its carved and gilded rosettes, is the well-figured and banded door, which opens to reveal three shaped shelves (making four in all). This door is flanked by reeded sides, and the painting of the interior, whilst not original, is certainly very old and in beautiful order. Dimensions to the corner: 22.5ins (57cms) c.1775
