1837/18: An interesting George IV or William IV period mahogany MUSIC STAND or perhaps LECTERN in good condition. The well figured mahogany top, complete with its music or book rest, is adjustable using the easel support behind, whilst the reeded and turned central column conceals the ratchet system so that the overall height is also adjustable. It is supported on good cabriole legs with pointed pad feet. The top 17ins x 13ins; the height 29ins minimum. c.1830

1724/18: DUCOMMUN GIROD: a good mid- 19th century SWISS MUSIC BOX in perfect working order. The walnut box is inlaid to the lid with marquetry and boxwood stringing, and opens to reveal the movement inside which plays EIGHT pretty tunes beautifully. Both the comb and cylinder are in excellent condition, and it is complete with its original hand-written tune sheet. Signed to the end of the brass crank lever. 19ins wide; 7.5ins deep; 6ins high. 1714/18: A good late Regency or William IV mahogany DUET MUSIC STAND in fine original condition and complete with pair of candle-holders. The twin 'easels' have supports that allow them to be adjusted, whilst the height can also be varied and secured. To either side are the original cast brass candle-holders which are hinged, and it is supported on a well-turned central column leading to a quadrapartite base and compressed bun feet. 56ins (142cms) maximum height. c.1830
