1760/18: A charming early/mid 19th century SWISS MUSIC BOX in fine playing order and lovely original condition. Made by Etouffoirs en Acier of Geneva, this pretty box plays four tunes perfectly, and is complete with its original handwritten tune sheet, whilst the box itself is of walnut, inlaid with a marquetry panel to the lid. The movement is key-wound whilst both cylinder and comb are in perfect condition. 12ins wide; 5ins high; 5ins deep (30.5 x 12.75 x 12.75cms) c.1840

1749/18: *Langdorff et Fils, Geneva: a good quality late 19th century SWISS MUSIC BOX in perfect working order. The case is of ebonised walnut with a rosewood veneered lid inlaid with stringing and a central marquetry panel of flowers. This opens to reveal the fully restored and ratchet-wind movement in fine condition, which plays beautifully a total of TEN tunes, including ones by Strauss and Verdi. Complete with its original tune sheet. 23 x 9.5 x 7ins (56 x 24 x 18cms) c.1880

1724/18: DUCOMMUN GIROD: a good mid- 19th century SWISS MUSIC BOX in perfect working order. The walnut box is inlaid to the lid with marquetry and boxwood stringing, and opens to reveal the movement inside which plays EIGHT pretty tunes beautifully. Both the comb and cylinder are in excellent condition, and it is complete with its original hand-written tune sheet. Signed to the end of the brass crank lever. 19ins wide; 7.5ins deep; 6ins high. 1714/18: A good late Regency or William IV mahogany DUET MUSIC STAND in fine original condition and complete with pair of candle-holders. The twin 'easels' have supports that allow them to be adjusted, whilst the height can also be varied and secured. To either side are the original cast brass candle-holders which are hinged, and it is supported on a well-turned central column leading to a quadrapartite base and compressed bun feet. 56ins (142cms) maximum height. c.1830
