1589/17: A delightful 18th century mahogany Chippendale period CHEST-OF-DRAWERS of small size and of particularly good warm colour. Below the well-figured solid mahogany top are four graduated drawers, all with oak linings and all are complete with their original ornate cast brass handles and key escutcheons. It is supported on original bracket feet and measures 31ins wide; 17.5ins deep and 32ins high. (78.5 x 44.5 x 81cms). A charming and thoroughly original chest of drawers. c.1770

1218/16: A useful George III mahogany CHEST-OF-DRAWERS of unusual size. Of good warm colour, this tall yet compact chest comprises four long graduated drawers, all lined in oak and retaining their original "swan-neck" pediment, whilst below is a small cupboard with two doors decorated with applied moulding and re-entrant corners. It is raised on original solid mahogany bracket feet and measures: 29ins wide; 45ins high and 19ins deep. (73.5 x 114 x 48.25cms) c.1775
