1948/19: A good set of EIGHT Chippendale style late 19th century solid mahogany DINING CHAIRS in excellent original condition. Each chair features a well carved and pierced back, with 'drop-in' seats supported on carved cabriole front legs which terminate in claw-and-ball feet, whilst the carver chairs have shaped and carved solid mahogany arms. The seats are covered in attractive gross point and petite point tapestry which are all in very good condition indeed. Priced for the set of EIGHT. c.1890

1817/18: Gillows of Lancaster: a good set of SIX solid mahogany DINING CHAIRS by this eminent and highly-regarded firm of cabinetmakers. The quality and design is typical of Gillows with reeded backs embellished with carved corner decorations, whilst the overstuffed upholstered seats are supported on good reeded and turned legs. These are strong, heavy and very practical chairs. *The price includes re-covering in buyers material. c.1845

1138/16: An elegant and attractive mid-19th century English Hepplewhite style DRAWING ROOM ARMCHAIR of pretty proportions.
