Good Carriage Clock
2103/19: A pretty late 19th century French CARRIAGE CLOCK of small size and in perfect working order. Within its "Corniche" case, with bevelled glass panels to all sides, the 8-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a gong and repeats hours at will. It retains its original platform escapement and features a separate alarm train ~ also fully working. The enamel dial is perfect and is signed: Golay Fils & Stahl of Geneva, who won medals for Carriage Clocks in Paris and London. Numbered 2472 and complete with its original numbered winding key.
