Bronze Girl

2017/19: Anonymous: a charming and unusual BRONZE FIGURE of a naked young girl with long hair apparently emerging from the sea and holding a worm (or other marine creature!) with a look of some surprise on her face. This really delightful sculpture is supported on its integral ‘Gothic’ style circular base and measures 15ins (38cms) high overall. *Although unsigned, this has an English "feel" about it, possibly in the manner of Sir Arthur Gilbert, or Sir George Frampton, who was responsible for the statue of Peter Pan that stands in Kensington Gardens.
