In the lid is a gilt framed mirror which matches the gilded hand-mirror in the drop down front. There are 2 drawers below, one fitted for jewellery. Mint condition and a truly superb fitted box. London 1890. *The engraved: "Mon Dieu est ma Roche" is the family motto for Lord Fermoy, a baronetcy created in 1856.
