"The Rose Maiden"
1940/19: A charming ROYAL WORCESTER porcelain figure by the famous Freda Doughty, called "The Rose Maiden" (also sometimes known as "The Bridesmaid"). The young girl in a long blue dress holds a large bunch of roses in her arms, as she walks down some stone steps, with petals strewn before her. First introduced in 1938, this is dated 1941. 8.25ins (21cms) high.
