Henri Jacot carriage clock
1750/18: HENRI JACOT: a particularly fine quality full sized late 19th century French CARRIAGE CLOCK in perfect working order. The gilded case is of "gorge" design with ribbed handle and large bevelled glass panel to the top. The 8-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a gong, repeating the hours at will, and retains its original lever platform escapement. Stamped with the number: 16582 and the makers trademark (a parrot on a stand between the initials: "H.J"). 7.5ins (19cms) high (handle up). *The original gilding to this case is original and in perfect condition.
