18th century ivory tea caddy
1716/18: A good late 18th century ivory TEA CADDY of "tented" form ~ each of the panels separated by tortoiseshell divisions. It is surmounted by the traditional silver "bow" handle, with shaped silver key escutcheon and oval silver cartouche to the front. The interior retains most of its original leading lining, with silver hinge and lock.
