18th century silver Cream Jug
1636/18: A good quality late 18th century SILVER CREAM JUG of pleasing "helmet" shape, with crisp bright-cut engraved decoration; ribbed edges and lip and shaped ribbed handle. It is engraved with a good "griffon" crest within a laurel leaf surround to one side, and fully hallmarked for London 1796. 5ins high; 5ins wide; 2.75ins deep. (12.7 x 12.7 x 7cms)
