convex dial wall clock
1565/17: A good looking early/mid 19th century mahogany WALL CLOCK by Burrows of Chelsea, LONDON. The case features a narrow solid surround, with curved door below, whilst the convex glass is fitted within the cast brass bezel. The eight-day fusee movement has shaped plates with original blued steel hands and restored (but not re-painted) 12-inch convex dial. 14ins diameter; 6ins deep. The inside of the side door has an interesting original makers label ~ see additional image. *The convex dial and glass indicates that this was made just prior to the Victorian period.
