1348/17: A pretty late 18th/early 19th century inlaid TEA CADDY of the Sheraton period. The lid, front and sides are all marquetry inlaid with flowers and leaves within tulipwood cross-banding, whilst the lid retains its original (silver?) axehead handle. The inside of the lid is inlaid with the owner's initials on a background of harewood, whilst some of the original lead lining remains. 7.5ins wide; 4.5ins deep 4.5ins high (19 x 11.5 x 11.5cms)
